Checkered plate steel, also known as Diamond Plate, is a functional and decorative steel product that is characterized by a raised non-slip pattern (diamond/lentil/teardrop design) on the surface, which combines safety and durability. Precision pressed to create a consistent towing surface for industrial flooring, transportation equipment (truck beds/boat decks), and construction applications. The textured surface has good slip resistance in oily/wet conditions, while having the same weldability and manufacturability as a standard board. Application

Production Process

1. Cutting: The selected steel plate is cut according to the required size.

2 Embossing: Through the embossing machine for the steel plate embossing treatment, so that its surface to form a variety of beautiful and practical patterns.

3. Rolling: The steel plate after embossing is rolled to make its edge smooth and burr free.

4. Oil removal: Clean the oil and impurities on the surface of the steel plate for subsequent treatment.

5. Pickling: Through pickling treatment, remove the oxidation scale and rust on the surface of the steel plate to make its surface smoother.

6. Coating: Spray the selected coating onto the surface of the steel plate to achieve anti-corrosion and aesthetic effects.

7. Drying: Put the coated steel plate into the drying room for drying treatment to ensure that the coating is firm.

The process of making the patterned steel plate is successively: hot metal desulfurization, converter smelting, hydrogen blowing, ladle furnace refining, thin slab continuous casting, soaking furnace, phosphorus removal, finishing rolling, laminar cooling, coiling, finishing, inspection and packaging, and the temperature of the slab formed by continuous casting of the thin slab continuous casting stage is controlled in the finishing rolling stage. The rolling process parameters of the finishing rolling stage are controlled so as to realize the damage control of the pattern steel plate.
